Hawaii, the Paradise in My Mind
Some people prefer traveling for a variety of reasons. It is a nice way to relax myself indeed. Each time when I fed up with my lousy work, I always want to take a travel to a faraway place, particularly an island like a paradise. Which island in your mind is the most beautiful in the world? I think it must be Hawaii. According to a news report recently, more than 7 million visitors flock to the Hawaiian Islands each year. See, this is Hawaii. For those who travel to Hawaii for various reasons, they may check out world-famous beaches up close and personal, or want some peace and quiet somewhere off the beaten path. The beautiful Hawaiian Islands offer these and much more for the travelers who want to experience the friendly local, strong traditions of Hawaiians and the natural beauty of the Islands. I knew that Hawaii is noted for its great beaches before going there. To tell the truth, Internet is quite a convenient tool to find out what you want immediately. For example, Hawaii has a dry season from April to October and a rainy season from November to March. However, in recent years, even the rainy season has been very dry. This information helps a lot for those who cannot stand dry and also make them to prepare for the climate. I prefer dry seasons actually, so I think the best period to make a travel in Hawaii is from April to October. What’s more, these are the months when you can get good travel bargains. If you have kids, you can make your travel in summer, as summer in Hawaii can be hot and humid and kids are out of school, but it gets a big crowd at the beach. Hurricanes are rare in Hawaii, so you can enjoy basking under the warm Hawaiian sun and feeling your cares drift away with each gentle wave that laps at your feet the whole afternoon, listen to your favorite songs through bluetooth headphones, and watch beautiful girls come and go. If you feel bored about sunbath, then go swimming to get closer to Hawaii. The water temperature in Hawaii is very consistent. The year-round average water temperature is a warm 74 degrees. It can reach 80 degrees in summer. Anyway, it is not the perfect season to surf in summer in Hawaii, and winter is the ideal season. You can even go hiking in Hawaii to see the fabulous nature on Hawaiian Islands. I like go hiking because it gives me plump chances to observe interesting things on both sides. Perhaps these beautiful sceneries cannot be taken home, but I can take them in my digital camera and store them in my usb flash drive. They will be there forever unless my flash drive suddenly breaks down. In one word, there are many exciting events in Hawaii waiting for your coming. Whenever you come, you will not be disappointed at its nature, foods, culture, uniqueness and hospitality.

The Hidden Beautiful Land in Vietnam
I form a group with my classmates to Vietnam about half a year ago. Perhaps this is to your surprise that we did not visit the most famous places in Vietnam, instead we chose some hidden beautiful sceneries of Vietnam. The hours on the plane passed so fast when we take a nap until the kind voice from speakers telling the plane would land in the airport. The first place is Mu Cang Chai, of which the terraced rice fields enjoy the most attraction among tourists. This place is situated in the district's Che Cu Nha, La Pan Tan and De Zu Phinh villages. These imposing fields draw a large number of both Vietnamese and foreign travelers who love to take pictures of and indulge themselves in the amazing beauty of the national heritage site. Actually, you do not have to worry to miss it as you can see a picturesque range of terraced fields along National Road 32 after going through Khau Pha Pass. I could not help exclaiming that is natural wonder and taking many photos. Some ethnic minority mothers use cloth as a cradle to carry their babies on back when they are working in the fields, which is never seen in my country and I think they may have something to do with their custom. Children of these farmers run everywhere with loud laughter and happy smile on their faces, chat with parents and friends occasionally. At that moment, you would feel everything in Vietnam is natural. You may feel the smell of the air in Mu Cang Chai when you have a look at these photos next time. You do not know how much I want to upload them through a pen drive to the internet and share with my friends in Canada. The terraced fields in Mu Cang Chai are associated with the developmental history of the Mong ethnic minority group. They are considered not only a source of food production for the whole nation but also an asset for developing local tourism, which really makes money for them in recent years. I was thinking at that time it must be a happy thing to work in such a beautiful place and wholesale rice in the market after harvest. Farmers work very hard in the fields with some traditional equipment that I cannot name and I am sure you must get surprised at. If you have not seen the impressive fields, I guess it is difficult for you to convince that the terraced fields are created in such a simple way. The tour guide explained to us the most difficult about making terraced fields is finding water resources and fertile land because they are very rare in mountain areas. Sometimes, it is a tough job and takes much time for them to find a suitable area for terraced fields, moreover, which also depends on both the local people’s experience and the equipment. Talking about this beautiful scenery with friends and taking photos, I feel this land is just from the paradise.

Our Story About iphone
As you know, iphone has been attracted much attention ever since its appearance. It is fashionable to use iphone nowadays. You can see people gather to play games, take photos, or try the latest apps on it with friends. It is not surprising that a person spends an whole hour playing the famous game ANGRY BIRD, which is really funny and relaxed. Every iphone user must have his or her story with it. We are presenting some of them collecting from users in different countries. Now let’s read some of their funny stories about iphone. 1. The first story is from Tom Deep, a mid-aged man working in post office: I'm just sharing my experience here--dropped my new iphone into water last week and grabbed it out quickly and dried the inside and iphone 4 case. Although I tried many times to restart it, anyway, it turned out to be in vain. Then I googled to find away to put it in a bag of rice which I did for about 24 hours, but my son removed the SIM card that is wet, and then I left the iphone on the warm cable box for several days horizontally, and sometimes put it vertically in a sunny window. Fortunately, when I put SIM back in it, it really works. To be honest, I am not sure of any long-term effects, but for that period I'm happy. 2. The second story is from a man teaching in a primary school: When the iphone came out there 2 weeks ago I was in the line for 2 hours and got the 1st 32gb in the store and went back home to plug in to my laptop. Some problems happened when I chat to others on the phone. They could hear me but I cannot hear them. I called Apple the other day and got a new one that worked very well after a fight with them. See, I bought one of the fashionable iphone 4 covers. What do you think of it? 3. Kate came to share her story about iphone satisfactorily. My first impression of iPhone 3GS is that it is much faster than iPhone 3G. The application switching is super smooth and snappy. The camera works really well and you can now take successful pictures of text like newspapers etc. They are clear, video recording seems good but not as good as my digital camera, which I have never expected it to be. Speaking of the case, I can change from the wide selection of iphone 3g cases according to my mood every day. There are still a lot of funny stories about iphone around. It is said that someone even successfully used iphone to track his stolen car, or ditched his cell phone for an iphone 3GS. People use for various reasons, the simple look or fashionable design. No matter what make you buy an iphone, you have already benefited a lot from it. We all believe there will be more wonderful uses in the future.

What Can an Interest Bring Me?
What is an interest for? Some people think it can kill time when feeling bored while a few hold that a good interest helps make friends. I regard my interests as my friends, who can accompany me when I feel lonely, enrich my relevant knowledge, broaden my horizon and bring enough happiness and satisfaction every time. When speaking of my interests, I can talk about for a whole day with you. I like collecting gismos. There are wide selections of different gismos in my room, some of which have been there for 10 years. This time I would like to show three of them with you, and hope it would make you refresh. One is a thumb drive that looks with the shape and design of concrete made by a college student from China. The reason why I collected is it weighs the exact grams which is also its capacity. The first time I showed it off in front of my friends, none of them got it is one of the latest and featured usb sticks. Surely, who can figure out making a tech product design with the idea of concrete? It is said that the original concept for the design is that the disk not only records digital data but also everything else experienced. The abstract digital data becomes a unique memory chip through analogue recording. The second is a jean. Yes, it is a jean, but not any jean you have seen before. As you know, regular jeans are always with regular pockets that have proven to be deficient in carrying usb sticks. However, this unusual jean do have a special function to keep iPhones, iPod Touches, which can be safely contained in the micro-fiber insulated pocket and has been measured and cut just the exact size so it doesn't move about or bump up against your set of keys like it's a buxom girl at an R&B night. There's also a special hidden pocket for a USB stick—though as I usually carry around at least five in my handbag, along with a micro and mini USB cable, I think I'd need a few more pockets added. The third one is a music t-shirt. Have you seen this type of t-shirt before? Check this out when you feel your life is tedious and uninteresting or even jokes, songs, dramas, movies and television cannot cheer you up anymore. The music t-shirt is an amazing new wearable audio solution that features a working speaker embedded into the front of the t-shirt. When you push the appropriate button on the pocketable remote you get music or sound effects from drum roll, to cat call whistle or western showdown for any situation. It is easy to simply pop in your own SD memory card loaded with MP3 files to use your own sound effects and music. If you cannot find this t-shirt in your local stores, you’d better search it online or go to wholesale electronics markets. Do you have special collections just like mine? Can you share them with us?

Creative Ideas Makes Life Interested
If you are a fashionable person, you are more likely to follow trend to be the most attractive one among groups of people around you. Just as every cook loves kitchen gadgets, every fashion loves creative gadgets. That is part of what makes life fun and colorful. I list a few of my favorite creative gadgets here ranging from cell phone accessories and mp3 players to speakers. 1. Creative cell phone covers. Do you want to personalize and protect your new cell phone with a stylish creative cell phone cover? The cell phone cover made of durable plastic always protect your cell phone well and the cover decorated with crystals make you the attractive one when using the cell phone. From now on, crystal is no longer only for wearing, it can be a perfect decoration. 2. Creative wireless outdoor rock speaker. Generally speaking, ordinary speakers are heavy and big sitting on the desk besides your screen. However, this creative wireless outdoor rock speaker refreshes you at the first sight. It is designed to stand outside on a carpet of green grass in parks or be a helpful application in your garden. Its special look seems like a real rock, decorating the surrounding more vividly. This speaker works very well no matter it is a sunny or rainy day. In addition, the included rechargeable battery enables the speaker work more than 5 hours. Last but not the least, this creative wireless outdoor rock speaker charges less than 150 us dollars and can be purchased at many online stores. In recent months, more and more wholesalers began to take notice of this creative gadget. 3. Creative mp3 player. Mp3 is now commonly used particularly among youngsters. Although our cell phone has the function of mp3 player, however, it is strongly recommended by professors that listening music from mp3 can reduce the chance of suffering radiation from cell phone. The prices of mp3 player vary from 50 us dollars to several hundred us dollars according to their functions, quality, and designs. Generally speaking, men likes pocket-sized player that weighs not much, and large screen is the second factor that is usually considered. While women prefer the mp3 player with a special shape, such as the shape of oval or starfish. By the way, paying more does not mean you can by the best mp3 player in the market, so you’d better not judge whether a mp3 player is good or not by its price on tag. 4. Creative candy earphone. Have you ever seen the creative candy earphone? To be honest, it really looks like yummy candy. The choices are from yellow, red, green, or blue. It is more than an earphone indeed, which sweeten your music up. This featured earphone is very light and cute, and compatible with virtually every mp3 player in the market, including the iPod. Get ready to listen to music through your creative candy earphone? Life can be gloomy sometimes; anyway, you can turn it into interesting and colorful with some creative ideas.

Wandering off in Amsterdam
Having heard of the beauty of Thailand for years, I did not think I can wait anymore, so I took a travel to Thailand last year. Excitement accompanied me all the way, gave me enough time and space to have numerous imagination. The time on plane seemed so slow that I even doubted whether I had missed it. I did have a good research online and learned that it is a huge insult and taboo also illegal in Thailand to go topless on the beaches, but even more so on Koh Lanta where it is mainly Muslim (not Buddhist like the rest of Thailand). However, it is very common in my country that people sunbathe topless on beach, drink beer, or chitchat with friends, which is very relaxing. Although I always have no interest in beach, sunshine or beautiful girls, yet this is what everyone must comply with when travelling in Thailand, just like the proverb goes “When in Rome do, as the Romans do" The night in hotel was rather OK until someone called. Unfortunately, my iPhone fell down on the floor with loud noise. Guess what happened then. Yes, it did not work anymore. What’s more, the case was broken. Oh my god, that was my favorite iphone 4 case. Running to the receptionist out of breath, I asked where I could have it fixed with my broken Thai. It was really at least half an hour after I reached that place. Fortunately, the man in that store speaks English, which saved a lot of my energy that was supposed to speak Thai and body language. I found there were a variety of stylish iphone 4 covers and iphone 3g cases around me, to be honest, some of which were really with traditional patterns of Thailand. I have to confess that it was somewhat difficult to pick up one that I like as each one was so excellent. Finally, after more than half an hours’ choosing, I bought the colorful one with some Thai on it. Then I relaxed myself the next day in Thailand, had some of the most amazing foot massages. Oh, how relaxing and comfortable it was! You must feel refreshing again if you had that experience. After that, I settled in the front row of beach chairs with drinks for amazing sunset before getting back to hotel having dinner. The sunset in Thailand in front of me was so different from that of my city although the two places both have a beautiful beach. But the one in Thailand is added something mysterious and unreachable, which sounds reasonable on my photos. I chose a sunny morning with soft breeze to end this travel. To tell you the truth, I began to miss Thailand after saying goodbye to the kind receptionist. Even on the plane when I scanned all my photos taken in Thailand, I could feel the warm wind on the road and the complicated Thai. Apart from them, my cell phone cover is also a reminder for me.

Enjoy gift choosing
Just like various styles of clothes are designed for different customers, gifts are chosen for different recipients. From my point of view, gifts should be within one’s budget, and be distinctive, thoughtful and meaningful. When I intent to begin my gift choosing, I wanted to find a nice gift that satisfies my mom, a special gift to cheer my dad and a creative gift that impresses my boyfriend. Although everyone knows that gift choosing is somewhat time-wasting, the results would be astonishing. In order to achieve a good result, let’s consider the following points on the aspects of interests, tastes and hobbies when choosing gifts next time and forget your thought that gift choosing is difficult and messy. 1. Think about what the person usually do at leisure time. Does the person like playing sports, watching football matches, or going to the movies? If YES, tickets may be a nice gift then. Moreover, if this person happens to be your boyfriend, just accompany with him to do these interesting activities. 2. Consider the person’s need. When it comes to your dad, and he loves going hiking, taking photos, and going fishing with your mom, a package of gifts will be his favorite if it is with a quality backpack, a thumb drive, and a fishing rod inside. The backpack holds all the stuff –food and water, digital camera, notebook in the journey, thumb drive stores the photos taken in the journey, and the fishing rod gets more delicious fish. 3. Think about the specific occasion. Christmas Day is the time to choose a creative gift that surprises him at the first sight of it. Are the Astro Boy usb sticks attractive enough? If this is not his type, turn to Star War or Lord of the Rings, however, there can be one that he likes. This can be easily found at wholesale electronics stores. 4. Take your relationship into consideration. If the person is your little sister, some lovely gifts absolutely make her excited. Does she like pretty Barbie or other dolls? Or perhaps she loves mini-skirts which are not usually bought by mommy. So this is the time to let her feel you are a considerate sister. And if the person is your little brother, he may prefer collecting models from famous online games or his favorite characters. You’d better check out these online first. If the person is your new boyfriend, a digital photo frame keeping your beautiful photo in it makes him happy. 5. Research is necessary. When you are sitting on the bench in park, he may hum songs he loves. Why not take a note in your mind and spend in researching when back? A relative gift with his favorite singer or band must be a surprise for him and let him delighted! Apparently, it can be a CD or a poster with signature. All your endeavors in gift choosing will be felt on the point of sending it, and in return, you will get a surprisingly right gift next time. So just enjoy gift choosing!

How Do I Select Satisfactory Gifts?
Chinese New Year, also known as Spring Festival, is coming next month. And even at the beginning of January, Chinese people begin buying items and gifts in order to celebrate it. Once being an exchange student in China for only one year and spent with them in Spring Festival, I really like it very much. And at this very important moment, I am planning to send gifts to some of my Chinese friends. The process of selecting a gift can be difficult enough or even painful for many of my friends. It is partly because, from my point of view, they do not have a clear mind or have a thorough plan before heading out for the gift stores, like WHAT DO THEY WANT or WHAT DO THEY NEED and so on. As a matter of fact, we can spend hours asking ourselves these questions before buying. Fortunately, I did not suffer from such an awkward moment yet, moreover, the different recipients appeared very satisfactory at the gifts each time. Therefore, I would like to share some of my knowledge in selecting an appropriate gift. Actually, most of people regard gift giving as the exchange of physical objects; a better alternative is to think of a gift as communication. For example, when you give the gift- usb sticks to your brother, what you are actually doing is speaking to him. You buy, make or discover a gift that says something to the receiver. Then your brother receives the gift, and if he is perceptive, he understands your message. Of course this is obvious, but somehow many of us forget it when going to choose gifts. In fact, we focus firstly on the object. Perhaps you have realized that gifts conveys communication when some receiving them. When you receive a gift from your boyfriend, say a thumb drive, you may be in instantly aware of what it says. Some gifts communicate distance, while others intimacy. It can be a creative way to say" I love your". Well, gift communication is seldom attached to price tag if you are families or really good friends. Some of the gifts that I have appreciated the most have been practically free; however, they turn out to be very terribly valuable in my life. Therefore, you do not have to bother yourself to buy the said gifts in a wholesale electronics store or a magnificent shopping mall. Suppose that you have an excellent control of this thinking when selecting a gift each time, then you can quickly move towards the perfect gift instead of asking yourself WHAT CAN I BUY THEM, DO THEY LIKE IT, or WHAT WILL THEY THINK OF THIS. Generally speaking, the recipients concern about the price of the gifts, anyway, it is your thinking that to some degrees makes them happy and moved. Thus, you do not need to ask yourself any negative questions like WHAT IF THEY DO NOT LIKE IT. Be more self-confident when you give the gift and say the good wishes.

If you're not sure where to get started, just try the following steps: A. Pay attention: The best gift is something he or she really needs in the life, so it may be mentioned before in your conversations. You’d better now gather the information and find it out. What does he or she like? A flash memory or a ticket for the latest movie. You can consider in the following areas of interest: music, books, travel, hobbies, food, sports, etc. B. Go snooping online: This is absolutely helpful for you if the recipient has an Amazon wish list or Netflix queue. Just snoop around to find out what he or she likes. 2. Make gifts by yourself: Nothing shows your special love more than baking it into a lovely and sweet cake. Do you know there are tens of hundreds of great gifts that require more time than money? Why not cook a dinner or write a heartfelt letter. E. Get geeky: If you're technically inclined, check out MAKE Blog's Open Source Gift Guide and retrofit an old gadget for new gimmickry. Or, try downloading a program which records streaming audio, and put radio shows like This American Life, the SModcast or NPR's live concert recordings on CDs for friends. That would be fun and it is really a wonderful gift. Do you have a clear mind to choose gifts now? I hope this article will help you a lot.
